Membership fees

MEMBERSHIP/PARTNERSHIP CONTRIBUTIONS

 

I. Members

Contributions are categorized as follows:

              a. annual contribution

              b. project-based contribution

              c. entrance contribution

 

a. Annual contributions shall be divided into 4 categories based on GDP/per capita. One lot is set to be US $250. The collected annual contributions are used for AC21 activities and events in which all members can participate and which are endorsed by the General Assembly.

II. Partners

Partners shall give donations which shall directly support AC21 activities. The amount of donations and its use shall be decided locally by the members and partners. Each member shall make the amount of donations received transparent to AC21 and report its use to the AC21 General Secretariat. Donations shall be used only for AC21 related activities. Applicants shall be committed to AC21’s Vision.

Donations of partners can be of various types, i.e. donations in name, in kind or financial donations.

Partners can be categorized into:

1. Corporations ⇒ high level of contribution

2. Government and municipal agencies ⇒ moderate level or none

3. Community and NGO groups ⇒ moderate level or none

4. Research institutes ⇒ minimum or none

For transparency reason contributions need to be reported to the General Secretariat, reported to the STC and then endorsed by the General Assembly.
