Description of course/cirriculum The Summer School is devoted to Applied Analysis. The courses, focusing on different aspects of Applied Analysis, will take place Monday to Friday during the entire week. It is meant for training for students of all levels. The registration is free, but we may limit the number of participants, if necessary. There will be five general lectures given by different speakers each year. Examples of lecture are “Operator monotone functions: old and new”, “Rank structured matrices: theory, algorithms and applications”, Spectra and finite sections of band operators”, “Fractal algebras of discretization sequences”, and “Polynomial approximation via de la Vallee Poussin means”.
