*VISIT TO AC21 MEMBER INSTITUTION*
From April 24 to 29, AC21 Steering Committee Chair Professor Yamamoto, AC21 Director Professor Nomizu, AC21 Project Coordinator Associate Professor Iwaki and Assistant Coordinator Ms. Hisada visited Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France. They met Director Phillip Courtier and Professor Marie-Ange Cammarota to discuss and finalize the plans for the AC21 Second Student World Forum 2007 which will be held from July 23 to 28. AC21 General Secretariat strongly encourages each and every member to send their students to Paris for this great occasion. Two students from the First Student World Forum contributed to the AC21 Newsletter vol. 3 about their wonderful experience in Nagoya and mention the friendship they built during the forum, which continues even today. AC21 General Secretariat will be visiting AC21 members in China from May 16 to 23. The details of this visit will be reported to you in the next Monthly Report.
*FOURTH INTERNATIONAL FORUM AT NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY*
As announced in the letter and email, there has been a change of Forth International Forum site from Nagoya University to North Carolina State University. We will update you the details of the forum as we receive information from NCSU.
*VISITER FROM AC21 MEMBER INSTITUTION*
On April 12, AC21 General Secretariat welcomed Ms. Chantal Weber from the University of Freiburg, Germany. Ms. Weber visited AC21 General Secretariat office and took a quick tour around Nagoya University. If you have the chance to visit Japan and come close to Nagoya area, please let us know. We are more than happy to welcome you. University of Freiburg celebrates its 550 anniversary this year. Congratulations! You can find information from the site below.
