Monthly Report No.37 (March. 30, 2013)
Dear AC21 Members,
Greetings from the AC21 General Secretariat!
Thank you very much for your continued support of AC21 and its activities. The following are updates and some recent news from AC21.
1. AC21 International Graduate Summer School Update
The AC21 International Graduate Summer School (AC21 IGSS) is only two months away. The three host universities, namely, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University and Nagoya University, have been working diligently to prepare for the AC21 IGSS. The keynote speakers and lecturers for the AC21 IGSS are all now confirmed. We are very grateful for the cooperation of the member universities in nominating their distinguished scholars as keynote speakers and lecturers for the AC21 IGSS.
We would like to remind member universities which have not yet nominated their students to the AC21 IGSS to give their nominations as soon as possible to the AC21 General Secretariat. The details of student applications for participating in this AC21 IGSS have already been sent to the AC21 Communicators of each member university, but they can be viewed on the AC21 website, along with the latest program, short biographies of keynote speakers and lecturers and their abstracts. Please visit the website below for up-to-date information about the AC21 IGSS.
The three host universities would like the AC21 Communicator or person in charge of AC21 in AC21 member universities to observe the AC21 IGSS. Please refer to the email sent to AC21 Communicators for detailed information.
While the host universities have been hard at work visiting companies to solicit donations for this project, we are still short of our goal. We would appreciate it very much if other AC21 member universities could contribute by generating fundraising for the Graduate Summer School as well. If you can help, please contact the AC21 General Secretariat (email@example.com).
