The results of these surveys will be subject to discussion at the STC 2016 and vice-presidents' workshop to be organized as a parallel session of the International Forum 2016.

2) AC21 plans to run a panel at APAIE 2016

The theme of the APAIE Annual Conference and Exhibition 2016 was released: Asia Pacific – A Global Education and Research Powerhouse: New models of cooperation in research engagement and education mobility for the 2020’s.

We at the General Secretariat wish to organize a panel presentation by AC21 members and will call for participants in this panel proposal shortly. It will be a good opportunity to make AC21's activities and achievements visible and share knowledge and experience in a global higher education world.

3) Seventh AC21-TUC NAFSA Working Breakfast 2015

The Working Breakfast 2015 was successfully held on May 27, in Boston, MA, USA. This is a workshop organized approximately annually since 2008 by the Technische Universität Chemnitz (TUC) during the same period as the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo, in order to enhance the AC21's ties by sharing knowledge and insights from initiatives and practices undertaken at our member universities.

This year's participating member institutions included the University of Adelaide, University of Freiburg, University of Minnesota, North Carolina State University, and Nagoya University.

You can find a report by the TUC on our website at: http://www.ac21.org/japanese/activities/other/4th-ac21-cut-nafsa-working-breakfast/

4) AC21 International Forum 2016 to be held in Chemnitz, Germany

The AC21 International Forum (IF) 2016 will be hosted by the Technische Universität Chemnitz from April 30 to May 3, 2016, with the theme "Chains of Innovation for Changing Science and Society". As mentioned above in the first topic about surveys, a workshop in which our member institutions' vice-presidents for research will assemble and discuss potential research collaboration between AC21 members is also planned to be organized as part of the IF 2016.

Thank you for your continued support of AC21 and its activities.
