Monthly Report No.29 (June. 30, 2012)

Dear AC21 Members and Partners,

Greetings from the AC21 General Secretariat!

First of all, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Ayako IDO, the new AC21 Project Coordinator of AC21 General Secretariat as of April 1st, 2012. From June onward I will be sending you a monthly report, to share with you AC21-related news and summary of AC21 activities of the General Secretariat and AC21 member universities. If you would like to share some news or events with the other members through this monthly report, please send them to the AC21 General Secretariat’s e-mail address (office@ac21.org). Our June monthly report covers AC21-related news of the last three months (April to June).

1.       The Sixth AC21 International Forum 2012 in Adelaide, Australia

The Sixth AC21 International Forum 2012 was held on June 12-14, 2012, in Adelaide, Australia. More than 130 attendees, including delegates of AC21 member universities and governmental institutions, actively participated in discussions, and fortified their academic networks. This forum also provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate AC21’s 10th anniversary with delegates from AC21 member universities from around the world. Undoubtedly, all the attendees would join me in offering a huge congratulation to the University of Adelaide for the great success of the Forum, and thank them for their warm hospitality extended to the attendees. If you would like to view photos from the Forum, please visit the AC21 official website, as well as the post conference website of the University of Adelaide, both links listed below. If you would like to listen to and download some of the presentations from the Forum or provide the host university and AC21 General Secretariat with some feedback of your conference experience, please visit the University of Adelaide post conference website. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation in completing this short online survey.
