News & Updates

 

(1) AC21 International Graduate School (IGS) 2019 at Stellenbosch University, South Africa

The AC21 IGS 2019 at Stellenbosch University, South Africa was held from July 12 to 21 with the theme “Invasion Science for society: hands-on experience of environmental, social and economic impacts of alien species”. Thank you very much for all of your support, especially the host university. Also please do not forget to follow up and share the great experiences to all members. The report will be featured in the next issue of the AC21 Newsletter in October.

 

 (2) AC21 STC Skype Meeting on August 8th

Based on the discussion at the 17^th AC21 STC Meeting in Washington D.C. (USA) on May 28^th, the AC21 General Secretariat held the AC21 STC Skype Meeting on August 8^th with the attendance of the University of Adelaide, Northeastern University, University of Freiburg, North Carolina State University, Stellenbosch University and Nagoya University. The meeting was focusing on strategic planning to enhance future AC21 activities. The AC21 General Secretariat would like to take this moment to thank you for your participation. We will also be arranging the next Skype meeting in December/January to continue our discussions.

The minutes for the meeting will be shared with all AC21 member universities shortly.
